The Mushroom Spot is a brick-and-mortar store located in Greenville, South Carolina that aims to improve the accessibility of edible mushrooms and all things fungi-related in the Piedmont region of the Southeast. And through our website, we intend to add to the availability of everything related to mushrooms and fungi worldwide.

The Mushroom Spot was founded by “best-friends-since-high-school” Ward Watson and Linh Nguyen, both who share a life-long interest in mushrooms and their intersection with human culture. Our store features a small-scale indoor mushroom farm as well as a showroom selling mushrooms and mushroom-related retail items. We hope to become a destination for all who share an interest in cooking, foraging, growing, and celebrating the kingdom of fungi.
