Mushroom Cultivation

The Mushroom Spot can cultivate mushrooms on logs and in wood chip beds for you at your home/property. We can inoculate freshly cut logs with mushroom spawn and stack them in a suitable place on your property. The type of mushroom would depend on the type of wood to be inoculated. We would recommend the best species of mushroom for that particular species of wood. We can also inoculate wood chip beds with mushrooms! We recommend cultivation of King Stropharia/Wine Cap (Stropharia rugosoannulata) and Blewit (Clitocybe nuda) this way. For pricing on log and wood chip bed cultivation, please inquire at projectfungillc@gmail.com. 

We also sell logs inoculated with Maitake (Grifola frondosa) and Chicken of The Woods (Laetiporus cincinnatus) that can be easily buried for reliable mushroom cultivation. These pre-inoculated logs sell for $50 each.
